Welcome Visitor is a small company started by Katie Wilford in 2017.

"I have spent much of my life in contact with older people in various capacities. Through this I have learnt that all people need companionship and human contact, no matter what age they are.

Many people, as they enter later life, or as they develop age related illnesses, are in contact with less and less people and are at risk of becoming isolated and lonely. What they really want is an opportunity to talk to someone who has the time to listen.

I feel I can offer the time to talk and listen with patience and interest to those who are in need of company.

I feel older people have a lot to offer and I learn something from them everyday."
