No-one should be lonely

Do you know someone who is in need of company?

There are many older people who spend most of their time alone.  The side effects of loneliness and isolation could be alleviated by a regular visit from a dedicated caring person, who is there solely to offer companionship and the face to face interaction that we all need. To sit, listen, talk, laugh and befriend.

Do you need a break from full-time caring?

Welcome Visitor can allow you the time you need to get out of the house, knowing your loved one is safe with someone who is dedicated to giving their time uninterrupted and focused only on keeping your loved one company while you are out. Many of our clients are living with dementia and are looking for support from someone who understands.

We can:

  • provide companionship at home with meaningful activites
  • make visits to residential care homes and hospitals
  • accompany your loved one to medical appointments
  • take people out for a coffee, to the shops, for a walk or to attend a group
  • visit care homes to provide group activities for residents to stimulate and improve mental, physical and emotional wellbeing
  • deliver a British Gymnastics Foundation Love to Move seated exercise class

Areas we cover:

Based in Boscombe, we currently visit within many areas within Bournemouth and Christchurch.

However, if you would like a Welcome Visitor in another area, please get in touch and we will try to help.
